Workshop on Peer Review and Documentation Held at IUB

A day-long workshop on ‘Peer Review and Documentation’ organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) was held on November 23, 2017 at IUB. IQAC was established under the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of Ministry of Education. The objective of the workshop was to facilitate the documentation process in order to prepare for the peer review and sharing the experience from the School of Business who has just accomplished the peer review process. comprehension and implementation of the approach of Outcome-based Education among the faculty members of IUB. It also focused on formative and summative assessments for the effective learning of the students.

A number of faculty members and members of Self-Assessment Committees of School of Engineering, School of Environmental Science and Management and School of Public Health of IUB participated in the workshop while the resource person was Professor Dr. Md. Sarwar Jahan, Agrotechnology Discipline, Khulna University. Professor M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB inaugurated the workshop.

Earlier Dr. Mahbub Alam, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IUB welcomed the participants and Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Additional Director of IQAC of IUB introduced the resource person to the participant.
