IQAC IUB Director conducts a day-long workshop on Outcome Based Teaching-Learning and Assessment at RUET

Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) conducted a day-long workshop on “Addressing Outcome Teaching Learning and Assessment Towards BAETE Accreditation” at the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on June 23, 2022. The workshop was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of RUET.

In his presentation, Dr. Razzak highlighted the best practices of outcome-based teaching-learning and assessment processes. He also showed the participants the process of preparing Self-Assessment Reports (SARs), which have to be submitted to the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), a statutory body under the Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB). The workshop was organized jointly by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) department of RUET. A total of 25 faculty members from the ECE department attended the session.
