Workshop on Improvement Plan Held at IQAC, IUB

A day-long workshop on ‘Improvement Plan’ organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) was held on March 20, 2018 at IUB. IQAC was established under the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of Ministry of Education. The objective of the workshop was to facilitate the improvement plans in order to prepare the development strategy for the next four years.

A number of faculty members and members of Self-Assessment Committees of different degree offering entities of IUB participated in the workshop while the resource persons were Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen and Dr. Mahbub Ahsan Khan, Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh. Dr. Mahbub Alam, Director, IQAC of IUB inaugurated the workshop. Among others, Vidya Nidhi Professor HPM Gunasena, National Professor of Sri Lanka was also present in the occasion.

Earlier Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Additional Director of IQAC of IUB welcomed the participants and introduced the resource persons to the participant. The event was organized by the IQAC Team under the supervision of Mr. Salman Shakil Farhan, Office Manager cum Data Analyst of the IQAC of IUB.
