Inauguration and Inception Workshop of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Held at IUB

The inauguration and inception workshop of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) was held at the Multipurpose Hall of IUB on December 13, 2015. Professor M. Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of IUB spoke on the occasion. More than 100 senior members of faculty and management were present at the IQAC workshop.

Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Head, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), University Grants Commission (UGC), Professor Dr. M Abul Kashem and Professor Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Quality Assurance Specialists, QAU, UGC delivered their speech and presented one paper each on quality assurance. Professor Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Designate) also put his closing remarks. Earlier Dr. Mahbub Alam, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IUB addressed the audience.

The program was organized by the office of IQAC of IUB under the supervision of Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Additional Director, IQAC of IUB. The program was partially funded by the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of University Grants Commission, Bangladesh
