Workshop on `Non-academic Management in Higher Education

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a Workshop entitled `Non-academic Management in Higher Education: Roles, Challenges and Strategies’ on July 24, 2018 at IUB campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka. Prof. Imran Rahman, Dean, former Vice Chancellor and presently the Dean of School of Business, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) was the Resource Person of the Workshop. The event was attended by the members of IUB’s non-academic higher management.
During the working session, Prof. Rahman emphasized on the importance of research and its impact on higher education and the society as a whole; accountability and fair recruitment policy; student counselling; and the necessity of having strong alumni bond with universities.
Earlier, Dr. Mahbub Alam, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IUB welcomed the participants and Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Additional Director of IQAC of IUB introduced the Resource Person to the participant
