IQAC IUB DIRECTOR PROF. RAZZAK CONDUCTS A HALF-DAY WORKSHOP ON CAPSTONE PROJECT DESIGN AT IUT

Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Professor of the department of electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) conducted a half-day workshop on “Designing Capstone Project for Addressing Outcome Based Education” at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Board Bazar, Gazipur on October 12, 2022. In his presentation, Dr. Razzak described the steps of how to design, conduct and assess the capstone project for the final year students majoring in electrical and electronic engineering.  Capstone project is an important component for an engineering program in order to address- the knowledge profile, complex engineering problems and complex engineering activities which is necessary for getting accreditation from BAETE (board of accreditation for engineering and technical education), a statutory body of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB). The workshop was organized by the electrical and electronic engineering department of IUT. A total of 35 faculty members from the EEE department attended the session.
