A Series of Workshops for Staff Development Held at IQAC, IUB

A series of eight workshops for staff development was held on April 15, 18, 22 and 24, 2018 at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). The workshops were organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IUB, which was established under the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of Ministry of Education. There were four modules in the series titled ‘Effective Communication’, ‘Time Management’, ‘Positive Psychology & MBTI’ and ‘Team Development and Stress Management’. The key objective of the workshop was to enhance the efficacy of the members of staff of IUB.

A total of 52 members of staff from various academic and administrative units of IUB participated in the workshop divided in two batches while the resource persons were Mr. Ashfaq Zaman, Mr. Yahia Md. Amin, Dr. Asif Zaman, Dr. Sayedul Ashraf and Mr. Kazi Md. Shafiqur Rahman, renowned consultants from LEAD, a PEARSON assured and UN Global Compact endorsed leadership organization under UK-Bangladesh joint venture. Dr. Mahbub Alam, Director, IQAC of IUB inaugurated the workshops and handed over the certificates among the successful participants.

Earlier Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Additional Director of IQAC of IUB welcomed the participants and introduced the resource persons to them. The events were organized by the IQAC Team under the supervision of Mr. Salman Shakil Farhan, Office Manager cum Data Analyst of the IQAC of IUB.
