IQAC IUB organizes a Discussion Meeting on Addressing UGC’s Outcome Based Curriculum

A 2-hour long meeting/discussion on ‘Addressing UGC’s Outcome Based Curriculum’ was held on May 10, 2022 organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). The Vice Chancellor of IUB Tanweer Hasan, PhD has commissioned the task to the IQAC of IUB of addressing the Outcome Based Curriculum of all undergraduate programs as per the UGC directives. Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, Ph.D, Pro-Vice Chancellor of IUB was present at the event and gave his introductory speech about UGC’s Outcome Based Curriculum issues and Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF).
The Director of IQAC, IUB Prof. Md. Abdur Razzak welcomed the Deans and Heads of the academic departments, and gave a presentation on UGC’s OBE Curriculum Template and Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF) guidelines. The Additional Directors of IQAC Dr. S M Sohel Rana and Dr. Md. Abdul Awal Khan were also present and spoke at the event. A total of 31 members from 5 schools and all academic department’s representative joined the meeting.
